Are you a contractor?
No. this site exists to gather homeowner requests and pass qualifying ones to an independent local provider; it isn't a contracting business itself.
Do you guarantee a provider?
No. Which provider is available, what they're qualified to handle, the area they'll travel to, and how quickly they call back all differ from one request to the next.
Can a photo provide a final diagnosis?
Usually not. A few clear photos are a useful starting point, but framing condition, slope, and other hidden factors usually can't be judged without someone standing in front of the window.
Should I obtain multiple proposals?
When the job isn't urgent, it's worth lining up two or three written scopes side by side — that's usually where differences in materials, prep work, testing, and exclusions become obvious.
Who verifies licenses and insurance?
It falls to the homeowner to check the provider's credentials, confirm insurance and any needed permits, and get scope and warranty terms in writing before work starts.
